International

There's nowhere better to grow into informed and responsible global citizens than with Girl Guides of Canada.

World Thinking Day 2021

The theme for World Thinking Day 2021 is Peacebuilding.

Peacebuilding is at the heart of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting, and is as vital and relevant today as it has been for the last 100 years. By completing the steps in the Stand Together For Peace activity pack, Girl Guides and Girl Scouts will; Stand Strong, Stand up and Stand Together for peacebuilding.

We want you to be part of this, so check out the WAGGGS Challenge and then order your crests using the form below!

CWFF Pizza Party!

The Canadian World Friendship Fund (CWFF) was originally started with money raised by Canadian Girl Guides to help children affected by World War II. Today, CWFF funds are used in a variety of ways, from supporting International Guiding members attending our Canadian events such as SOAR, to disaster relief for other WAGGGS countries such as the Japanese Tsunami in 2011,  and providing support for the World Centres so Guiding members around the world can visit them.

As you can imagine, these funds are very important and a huge part of our Guiding history and the girls' program. So how can your unit get involved?? By eating Pizza of course!!

To learn more about how your unit can win a Pizza party and help the CWFF, check out the information sheet and application form, below.
