What is the cancellation policy?
Any cancellations received on or before January 1, 2025 will qualify for a refund, less a $30.00 administration fee. After this date, the deposit and installment payments are non-refundable. Exceptions due to extenuating circumstances may apply at the discretion of the LEAP 2025 Chair.
How will meals work at LEAP 2025?
Meals will be provided by an on-site catering company. Because all meals are catered, patrols will not be cooking at their site. The catering company will accommodate dietary needs and will ensure there is more than enough food for everyone. There will be generous meal times where patrols can get their meal and eat. More details will be provided closer to the camp date.
Can we bring snacks?
We do not encourage patrols to bring additional snacks with them, but understand some patrols may arrive with leftover snacks from travelling to LEAP. We also understand that patrols may end up with leftover snacks at the end of the day if snacks were purchased on site. Any patrol snacks will be stored in neighbourhoods. They will not be allowed in the tents due to wildlife. If you have any concerns about allergies, please email LEAP@girlguides.ca.
Do we get to choose our patrol neighbourhoods?
No, they will be assigned for you. Due to the logistics that go into managing the neighbourhoods, patrols cannot request a particular neighbourhood. If you’ve attended LEAP in the past, we’re delighted to share that we will have some new/fresh neighbourhood names for LEAP 2025. More details will be shared closer to camp.
How many tents will each patrol get?
Tents will be provided based on the size of the patrol. Patrol Guiders will share a four-person tent with their gear, unless otherwise indicated.
A maximum of four girl members will share a six-person tent with their gear.
