Save the Date - May 12-13 The Atlantic Association for Research in the Mathematical Sciences (AARMS) and Girl Guides of Canada - NB Council are proud to host a provincial STEM event at UNB Fredericton! Who: This event will be for Guides, Pathfinders and Rangers When: Saturday, May 12 , registration will begin around 9:30am with sessions starting at 11:00am and the event will end Sunday, May 13th at 11:30am What: Girls will sleep in 2 in a room in UNB student residences and enjoy meals at the campus meal halls. STEM sessions will be offered by various UNB faculties and we are looking at having a large group session at the Currie Centre with guest speakers on the Saturday evening. Cost: Between $25-$50 per girl. We have applied for funding for this event and will only know late Jan if we are approved. As soon as this is confirmed, the price for the event will be set - look for more information on this early Feb and details on how to register your unit. Transportation to and from the event is not included in the price. We are also offering an option for units to come and stay Friday night at their own expense. $20 per person for a room, $7.69 for breakfast (plus HST).
