Cydney Weir Memorial Award
Cydney Weir Memorial Award is a $100 award which acknowledges a girl who shows kindness, helpfulness and caring for the environment.
Application must be received by Southern Horizons Area Office by September 1 each year.

Trish Murphy Bursary
Open to members of Girl Guides of Canada-Southern Horizons Area attending a post-secondary institution.
The criteria for the bursary is as follows:
- Be a current member of Girl Guides of Canada as an adult or youth member
- Have your Gold Camping or Outdoor Activity Leadership
- Have an interest in environmental issues
- Include proof of acceptance to the post-secondary institution of your choice. This may be submitted at a later date. Please advise if this should be the case.
PLEASE NOTE: This bursary may only be received on a one time basis, no second applications of recipients will be considered.
