FAQ
When will I hear if I've been accepted?
Applicants can expect to hear on the status of their applications in February. All applicants will be notified, regardless of status.
What kind of fundraising can I do?
We are developing a fundraising toolkit to help support you in your fundraising initiatives. Stay tuned!
What will the sleeping arrangements be like?
You will sleep indoors in the Pallesen House, in bunks. Girls and Guiders should plan to bring a sleeping bag and pillow (mats will be available onsite). A full kit list will be provided before the event.
Can I still apply if I have been on (or am going on) a Nationally Sponsored Domestic Trip?
Yes! This camp is entirely separate from NSTs.
Will dietary restrictions be accommodated?
Absolutely! But if you have any very specific needs, please mention it on your application form, so we can ensure you are accommodated.
How does the selection process work?
All applications will be anonymously reviewed by multiple screeners. For girls, points will be awarded for diversity, opportunity perceived, and thoughtfulness of your responses. For Guiders, you will be scored based on relevant experience and suitability for this opportunity.
