Womens's Leadership Circle

Girl Guides of Canada, with generous support from the McCall MacBain Foundation, invites you to participate in a transformative women’s leadership program starting this fall.

Join inspiring women from across Canada to explore the nature of women’s leadership, the kind of leaders our world needs right now and how we can each serve as catalysts for positive change.

Through storytelling, reflection and facilitated discussions, you’ll have an opportunity to reflect on your strengths as a leader, deepen your self-awareness and personal resilience, and strengthen your potential to catalyze change in your community.

GGC’s Women’s Leadership Circle is for women who are committed to…

  • Developing their capacities as courageous, authentic leaders
  • Personal growth and self-exploration
  • Creating a vision of what they can uniquely offer their community
  • Building resiliency through self-care
  • Contributing to a powerful network of women catalysts

The program begins with an enriching fall retreat in Ontario’s beautiful Hockley Valley where you’ll enjoy quiet time as well as lively conversation. Circle participants will receive ongoing support and coaching in the months that follow and forge new friendships that last even longer.

Bring a friend!

Here’s your chance to introduce an amazing woman in your life to the Sisterhood of Guiding! Grab your friend and bring her along for this transformative experience. You can support each other throughout the weekend and beyond.

Eligible members are welcome to apply with a non-member friend – it’s a great opportunity to introduce them to inspiring women in Guiding and learn more about leadership opportunities as a volunteer with GGC.

Whether you apply alone or with a friend, all circle participants will be paired to support reflection and growth during and after the retreat.
