Addressing terror attacks with girl members

Our thoughts are with the families and community of the people killed and injured by the recent bombing in Manchester, England. We know many girls will need support in dealing with their fears and reactions. We encourage Guiders to provide the time and space for girls to talk about and acknowledge these feelings. This resource from Girl Scouts USA provides helpful tips on how to start and facilitate the conversation. Additional support is also available through Kids Help Phone at 1-800-668-6868.
