Through challenging, active girl-centered programming, Girl Guides of Canada gives girls the chance to build new skills, develop lasting friendships, learn confidence and leadership qualities and make a difference in the world around them – all in a safe and supporting environment. Most of all, Guiding is fun!

Girl Guides Canada is where girls want to be

You won’t believe what girls in Guiding do today. When a girl joins Guides, she has the chance to:

• Try new activities and learn new skills with girls her own age.
• Experience the widest range of activities of any extracurricular program for girls.
• Challenge herself in a safe, supportive and non-competitive environment.
• Make her community a better place and develop global awareness through hands-on service projects.
• Earn a post secondary scholarship and apply for international travel opportunities.

We welcome all girls to be part of the following groups:

• Sparks - 5 and 6 year olds
• Brownies - 7 and 8 year olds
• Guides - 9 to 11 year olds
• Pathfinders - 12 to 14 year olds
• Rangers - 15 to 17 + year olds

Registration is always open and girls can join anytime during the year. There are several ways to join the fun:

• Complete an inquiry form and someone in your province or territory will contact you
