For the Love of Cookie All Stars Contest

Tips for anyone who wants to sell our wonderful cookies would be to just carry them with you anywhere you go. I sold seven boxes at the eye doctor’s when I went for eye appointments. What I like about the new way of cookie selling is being rewarded.

Well, I'll start by saying that Cookie All Stars was a huge success in our Unit! We have quite a large Unit of 26 girls. We have been selling our fall and spring cookies to raise money for our end of the year trip to Ottawa. I was absolutely blown away when half of our Unit ordered five or more cases. We also had two orders for 25 cases and three for over 10 cases. All of the girls said they ordered more because of the rewards and to help with Ottawa. We had an impressive order of 150 cases just for the girls to take home and then we ordered 125 for our Unit to sell together. They are so excited for the fall that I have had several girls tell me that they are going to sell even more. Thank you Cookie All Stars!

I liked the Cookie All Stars program because I liked the opportunity to work hard to directly fundraise for camps/activities in which I am participating. I liked the recognition of my achievement and the prizes! It was a good idea to have a specific goal of cookie sales for each of the prize levels. That way I could choose what I wanted to work towards.
Here are some tips to help you set your goal:
- Always smile
- Thank everyone even if they don’t buy cookies
- Wear your uniform
- Spend short periods of time selling cookies so you don’t get tired and you will be able to sell on multiple days/weeks

It was really easy doing the ordering. All I did was get on the phone to friends and family and I sold three cases in half an hour.
