To all adult members and Rangers
Celebrate with Girl Guides in your community as we shine our Guiding lights in support of girl empowerment.
Local landmarks across the province will help us celebrate by lighting up in "Guiding blue" on the evening of February 22. Confirmed landmarks are City Hall in Halifax, Grand Parade and The Big Fiddle on the Sydney waterfront. We are awaiting official confirmation for the library in Truro, stay tuned for confirmation.
If you have another landmark in your area that you would like to see lit up, please email ns-prcomm@girlguides.ca.
We are inviting members of Girl Guides to attend with their units or on their own and celebrate Guiding. Please send any pictures you take, ensuring there is an image release, to ns-socialmedia@girlguides.ca. Please note that if you attend one of the landmarks to be mindful that in some of these areas there are encampments. Please be respectful when attending.
We also inviting Guiding members and other supporters to light candles, make lanterns or find other ways to shine your own Guiding lights from your homes. Please send any pictures to ns-socialmedia@girlguides.ca.
